The Long Wait

Our departure date is June 19 and I’ve been planning this trip for what seems like ages already. This feels like a very long wait although I still have a lot to accomplish before we board that plane.  We now have our official housesitters recommended through a friend.  Two college age students who don’t want to be in their parents’ house for the summer.  They seem responsible and sweet with the animals. Still to do:

Get luggage my children can manage on their own.

Figure out how the heck to pack for cool and warm weather at the same time and still have only one bag each.

Complete my rescheduling of clients.

Get a great camera that I can upload easily with.

Get decent shoes that can also go from cool to warm weather

Purchase Eurail passes

Get a GSM phone.

I think that’s about it.  On the home front we have all the end of school activities and finish up of the most recent room my husband and I are remodeling.  I also need to find a substitute to attend a networking group for me while I’m gone. Ack! Where is a personal assistant when you need one?
