Traveling with Batteries – Tips from the Guru

For some reason when I’m preparing to travel, my usually scattered self turns into an organizational fiend.  I’m a big fan of David Allen’s "Getting Things Done" (I know – along with everyone else and his brother) so I turned to his web site and found a simple little trick for traveling with batteries.

David suggests that if you travel with extra batteries and get mixed up about which ones are charged and which ones are dead, put a rubber band around the charged ones.  That way it will be immediately apparent when you open your bags which batteries to choose.  Don’t forget to bring something to keep the rubber bands in!
