We’re firm believers that your travel adventure starts the moment you leave your house. Getting to your destination is just as important being there! So we’ve been researching various options that can help you on your way. Something for every budget.
Luxury private car to the airport
Everyone deserves a little luxury now and then and being picked up in your very own private luxury car is definitely a good way to start your holiday or new travel location. There’s a great online service called Blacklane that offers business class and first class style taxi services in over 180 major cities around the world. The service is a no-nonsense online service that makes it super easy to book a luxury car and pay in advance so you know exactly what it will cost. Perfect for those commutes to the airport before your exciting trip. We recently put this service to the test and can say from first hand experience it really did set the perfect mood for our travels. So don’t let the airport journey stress you out, travel in style and check out blacklane.com.
Coach and plane tickets booked together
We’ve seen an increasing number of airlines offering a multiple transport options in one booking, helping to reduce costs and hassle for your next trip. When booking your flight you can also book a coach from many major UK cities so this might be perfect for you if you live near one of their trade hubs. Singapore Airlines recently started one such service collaborating with National Express Coaches running 200 services daily to London Heathrow and Manchester Airports. You can also book transfers between airports as well making more connection options available to you. This might be just what you need if you’re on a budget. Definitely worth investigating.
Airport hotels can save you money
If you have a very early flight we highly recommend staying overnight in an airport hotel to ease the stress of your departure. There’s another great reason to stay at an airport hotel and thats saving money! If you’re travelling by train you can book “advance single” tickets which can cost a fraction of a normal ticket. Your ticket is only valid on a specific train but the saving can be enormous. Combine this with impressively competitive airport hotel costs from the likes of Travelodge and Premier Inn and you can often find your overnight stay will cost less than a peak time train ticket. Definitely worth investigating for your next trip.
Whatever your budget there’s some great options for starting your next adventure, travel in style, do your research and save money if your budget is tight.
