- There are many talented writers and support resources on the subject but, again, there is no one place to find them an choose for yourself efficiently
- People are hungry for step-by-step answers on how to become location independent
- People are hungry for an active community of others who are working on similar goals
As seasoned nomads we’ve also noticed:
- Actually pulling off a successful landing in a destination and creating a life requires practical nuts and bolts resources that are not often easy to find through web searches
- Getting basics such as great lodging, furniture, or appropriate transportation in a new destination can often be needlessly costly and wasteful due to lack of connections in your new place
- Finding friends could be greatly eased with a good online community specific to your destination
- Finding trusted service providers, classes, activities and business support is invaluable when you’re in a foreign country. With a way to make recommendations to each other we could save a lot of trial and error.
- When we do find trusted resources we’d like to be able to let the world know about them!
- When we leave destinations we could minimize waste by having an efficient way to trade, donate, or sell the things we can’t take with us.
